Spectacular and accessible! Dramatic mountainous landscapes that drop into a gorgeous fjord and exquisite panoramic views are what awaits you at the top of the mighty Pulpit Rock.

Book Now!

Are you ready to make your way up to one of the world’s most spectacular viewpoints?

The Pulpit Rock is a dramatic natural rock formation, the size of a 25 x 25 m² platform, overlooking the fabulous Lysefjord from an elevation of 604 meter.

The fjord is 42 km long, formed my powerful glaciers in the last ice age.

The Pulpit Rock was most probably formed by the melting of the ice about 10000 years ago.

The mountaintops around the Pulpit are as high as 1000 meters on both sides of the fjord which offers an incredibly inspiring view.

The hiking paths are accessible for anyone with general fitness.

Your hiking guide takes you through different natural landscapes at your preferred speed, all the way up to the Pulpit Rock.

This adventurous hike is one of the absolute highlights and on the to-do list of most travelers coming to the Stavanger region.

We guarantee an unforgettable experience in Norwegian nature.
